Believe it or not, the Springfield Polo Club turns 50 in the summer of 2023!!

We are hosting a special celebration that is open to all and we would love for you to join us!

​

DATE:             June 17th, 2023

TIME:             10:00 am to 4:00 pm

​

LOCATION:    Polo fields in Birds Hill Provincial Park, off Nimowin Rd next to Birds Hill Park Ranch

                        Come early to get a tailgate or bleacher spot or bring a lawn chair for the sidelines.

​

ACTIVITIES.  10:00 am  FREE Intro to Polo Clinic (Registration required at Eventbrite)

               

                        11:30 am  $5 BBQ Lunch by Birds Hill Park Ranch featuring bison smokies and hot dogs.

​

                        1:00 pm    Exhibition Match - Old vs Young to commemorate our 50 years!

Half-time Faux Champagne Divot Stomp: Join us on the field for this classic polo activity and enjoy a refreshing glass of faux champagne!

​

Post-game: Stick around to meet the players and the ponies and enjoy some photo ops 😊

History Display: We have gathered some amazing photos and items that characterize the Springfield Polo Club over its incredible 50 years! Check out the displays in the tent. Reminisce, learn and share.

​

Fancy Hat Contest: Polo is known for its fancy hats so show us your creativity! Anything you can wear on your head counts so dig through your closet or hit up a thrift shop and get decorating! Pick a theme, make it beautiful, make it wacky, whatever you choose. Prizes will be awarded… plus you’ll win bragging rights! 

 

Kids’ Crafts: Horse and polo themed crafts and activities will be set up in the tent for the kids. Plasticine art, temporary tattoos, coloring, and more! Opens at 10:00 am.
